Emerging from Gabo Guzzo’s work on the impact of human activity on the natural world, the project turns attention to production itself. What happens when our capacity to make exceeds our reasons for making?

 

Each object is realised as a pièce unique through specialised craftsmanship and a slow process in which artistic and manual knowledge come together.

 

The work considers human agency not simply as the capacity to act, but as the capacity to decide whether, and how, that potential is realised.
